How Can Therapy Help?
Loss in any form such as the death of a loved one or pet, a divorce, break-up or change in health, is a natural part of life. We all experience grief and loss. Grief is the internal part of loss. It’s how we feel. Each loss carries its own unique imprint. Society places a large burden on those grieving to “get over” the loss. However, grief has no timeline.
In order to move through our grief, we need to mourn and have others bear witness to our grief.
Through grief and loss therapy, our therapists will help you identify the stages of grief and areas in which you might be “stuck.” We will encourage you to embrace your emotions and assist you in learning healthy ways to move through your grief.
